Frequently asked questions

Is my comic file uploaded anywhere?

No. The file is read and rendered entirely in your browser using JavaScript and WebAssembly. It is never sent to a server.

Which comic file formats are supported?

.cbz (Comic Book ZIP) and .cbt (Comic Book TAR) are fully supported. .cbr (Comic Book RAR) supports RAR4 archives; RAR5 is not currently supported.

Is there a file size limit?

Files up to 1GB are supported. Files over 100MB are read in 64MiB chunks with a progress bar, rather than loaded all at once.

What's the difference between paged and webtoon mode?

Paged mode shows one full-width page at a time with previous/next controls and keyboard arrow-key navigation. Webtoon (scroll) mode shows all pages stacked in a continuous vertical strip with adjustable zoom, suited to tall-format comics.
